Poem, 2026 (edition of 20)

This codex book applies the economy of poetry to book form. Just as a written poem reduces language to what is essential, this book uses only primary colors, simplified images, and embedded sensory elements. The pencil-rubbed cover shows how meaning can lie beneath the surface, and while the form, images, and embedded elements tell a simple, sensory story, the single sentence of text encourages consideration of the question: what can a book be?

Media: Digital prints of line and watercolor and colored pencil on paper, various sensory elements

Dimensions: 5.5" x 5.5"
