I create line and wash paintings, and interactive artist’s books. An ecologist and evolutionary biologist by both training and inclination, in recent years, I began pursuing art while I was recovering from a traumatic brain injury. Building on my experience in accurately communicating science through text and graphics, since my injury I have been exploring the similarities and differences between line, color text and form in conveying fact, perspective and questions. I am located in Lexington MA.
