I create line and wash paintings, and interactive artist’s books. An ecologist and evolutionary biologist by both training and inclination, in recent years, I have been pursuing art as I rebuild my life following a traumatic brain injury. Although I am experienced in accurately communicating science through text and graphics, since my injury I move more slowly and view the world with a wider lens. I am now exploring the similarities and differences between line, color and text in conveying fact, perspective and questions. I am located in Lexington MA.
